서울시립 미술아카이브ART ARCHIVES, SEOUL MUSEUM OF ART
서울시립 미술아카이브는 기록과 예술이 함께하는 미술관입니다. 미술아카이브는 여러 개인과 단체가 남긴 한국 현대미술의 발자취를 좇아 수많은 기록과 자료를 선별해 수집하고, 보존하고, 연구합니다. 또한 아카이브를 매개로 한 활동을 통해 다양한 사용자들과 관계를 맺고, 새로운 예술의 틀을 마련합니다.
The Art Archives, Seoul Museum of Art, is where art records and artworks coexist. The Art Archives selects, collects, preserves, and studies numerous records and materials in contemporary Korean art. The Art Archives aims to create relationships with diverse groups of users through a wide range of programs utilizing the archives as a resource as well as to develop a new cultural framework.

- 북한산과 홍제천을 근처에 둔 서울시립 미술아카이브는 4개의 부지에 자리 잡고 있습니다. 건물을 높이 올리지 않고 주변 지형을 따라 공간을 곳곳에 나눠 놓음으로써 수평적인 공간감을 만들어 냅니다. 서울시립 미술아카이브는 공간과 공간, 안과 밖이 서로 연결되는 하나의 유기적 복합 공간입니다. 공간이 탈중심적으로 구성되어 있기 때문에 공간의 기능이 바깥으로까지 뻗어나가고, 관람객의 경험도 점차 쌓여가는 구조입니다.
- SeMA AA, THE RELATIONAL COMPLEX WITH TOPOGRAPHY
- Situated in four sites near the Bukhan-san Mountain and adjacent to the Hongje-cheon Stream and the Pyeongchangmunwha-ro, the SeMA AA creates the spaces lateral to the adjacent roads by distributing architectural mass along with the geographical features. It allows connecting different sites and the interior and the exterior of the buildings, which contributes to the organic nature of the complex. The decentering composition of the spaces enables the space programs to expand out of the perspective sites, and the gradual accumulations of the stories lead users' experience deepening when progressing through the buildings.
